In July 2011 BSCR employed a new member of staff Mr Eddie Kelly who is now the Community Safety Officer for Sandy Row, Eddie has been working closely with the PSNI, BCC, FASA, YJA, & NIHE to formulate a safety plan for the area.  BSCR have been working hard to try and bring back confidence in the local community as many people feel that they were unable to speak to statutory agencies about general safety issues, Eddie can on your behalf liaise with NIHE, PSNI etc with any safety concerns you have, please feel free to call into our office and speak to him.

Please be vigilant!!
Over the last few months more and more cases of theft are being brought to Eddie's attention, break-ins and attempted break-in in the Sandy Row community is unfortunately happening.  Other cases of theft have been reported in Shaftesbury Square were young women are getting their phones taken from them and their hand bags snatched.  BSCR would like everyone to be careful and vigilant of their property, lock-up and dont leave valuables unattended.
If anyone has any issues or needs any advice around safety please come into our office and speak to Eddie.
All issues brought to Eddie's attention will be kept strictly confidential
